Sette fine - La prima indagine dell’ispettore Ravera

La vicenda prende avvio sull’altopiano carsico, a pochi chilometri da Trieste, in un piccolo commissariato di pubblica sicurezza, si dipana presto ben oltre le quattro mura dell’ufficio di polizia, scende in città, percorre le sue vie, valica i confini e guarda il mare, l’ Adriatico, che lega diverse culture ed etnie. Sono incroci che riguardano sia i “buoni” che combattono contro la criminalità, sia i “cattivi” che per contro, tentano di eleggerla a sistema.

La storia si svolge a metà anni ‘90, in un periodo immediatamente successivo alle prime guerre balcaniche, momento in cui Trieste iniziava ad accelerare la propria vocazione di città di frontiera.

La caratteristica principale del romanzo sta nella circostanza che la professione dell’autore è la stessa del protagonista: ispettore di polizia.

Una coincidenza che ha permesso di scrivere una vicenda immaginaria ma realistica nell’ambientazione, nelle procedure investigative ed in tutto ciò che è riconducibile all’agire del poliziotto nel suo ruolo, anche se ciò non vale sempre per il protagonista.

Andrea Ribezzi ha 50 anni; ispettore di polizia, vive e lavora a Trieste. Questo è il suo primo romanzo a cui seguirà presto una continuazione.
