Buongiorno.
La mia domanda riguarda la Tv ed i bambini. Ci sono moltissimi programmi e cartoni dedicati ai più piccoli, ma qual’é l’età giusta per iniziare a far vedere la televisione ad un bambino? Anche se i programmi sono adeguati ho notato che spesso vengono interrotti da spot pubblicitari che mostrano giochi, abbigliamento, etc. che influenzano il bambino.
La ringrazio molto.
Non esiste un’età certa cui fare riferimento. La miglior cosa è non lasciare mai i bambini da soli davanti alla televisione. Occorre osservare le loro reazioni e parlare con loro. Diciamo però che prima dell’età della scuola materna è meglio evitare un’esposizione alla tv, meglio godersi quei momenti irripetibili.

Salve, io le chiedo la stessa cosa solo riferita ad internet e cellulari. Certo come ha consigliato nella risposta precedente è sicuramente importante stare vicino ai bambini mentre fanno certe attività, ma purtroppo non sempre e possibile e per qualcuno la tv diventa una comoda ed economica babysitter. Internet è piena di pericoli, ma ormai anche per la scuola è indispensibile, qual’è il modo migliore per proteggersi? Per quanto riguarda il telefono cellulare ho letto che le onde elettromagnetiche possono far male soprattutto ai più piccoli, ma la tranquillità che un genitore ha nel sapere sempre dov’é il proprio figlio qualche volta ci fa dimenticare questi pericoli. Cosa si può fare a riguardo?

Per internet ci sono i filtri salvafamiglie. Le consiglio di dare un’occhiata al portale http://www.davide.it e scegliere quello che ritiene più adatto ai suoi figli anche in base all’età. La tv non è una baby sitter e ha ragione a criticare chi accetta questa situazione.
Non mi preoccupererei tanto delle onde elettromagnetiche per i cellulari, ma favorirei il dialogo per un uso consapevole da parte dei nostri figli che se talvolta lo scordano non è così drammatico, anzi. Noi siamo cresciuti senza!

Le chiedo un semplice consiglio. Mio figlio come credo la maggior parte dei bambini è attirato dai videogiochi che troppo spesso hanno contenuti violenti. Quali sono i più sicuri e come si possono riconoscere?

Ho letto su parecchi articoli, sia in internet che su carta stampata, che i bambini che passano molte ore davanti alla tv hanno più probabilità di sviluppare in futuro la sindrome da deficit di attenzione e iperattività (ADHD). Ne sa qualcosa?

I videogiochi dovrebbero avere dei bollini di riconoscimento. Si sta lavorando per poterli rendere operativi correttamente con indicazioni opportune.
Al momento la cosa migliore è controllare, in maniera cauta, ma sicura, cosa capita in mano ai nostri bambini e scegliere assieme a loro. Ci sono anche videogiochi educativi…

Non esiste assolutamente alcuna relazione provata nel rapporto “molta tv - sindrome da deficit di attenzione e iperattività“, anzi. Certo determinare regole e limiti alla visione della tv è cosa saggia per minori e adulti.

I professori Hardell e Hansson Mild: utilizzare il telefonino per 10 anni fa salire il rischio di ammalarsi. Si legge anche in rete su varie testate: “Malgrado l’esposizione alle radiazioni sia nociva in ogni fascia d’età, i bambini, secondo gli autori della ricerca, sarebbero i soggetti più esposti e vulnerabili, perchè il loro cervello è protetto da uno strato di cranio più sottile, che rende più permeabili nella materia grigia le radiazioni.
Gli effetti nocivi sono a lungo termine e solo dopo anni si verifica l’insorgenza di tumori.” Etc.
Credo che nel dubbio sia meglio evitare… In Germania c’é un invito ai cittadini di usarli il meno possibile compreso il Wi-fi e connessioni wireless.
No, una relazione diretta tra disturbi alimentari e tv o videogiochi non c’è, però consigliare fortemente più attività fisica e sportiva e meno visione di tv o consumo di videogiochi è una cosa opportuna.
Se un giovane mangia di tutto e resta fermo davanti agl schermi di tv, pc o videogiochi è evidente che rischia d’ingrassare un po’ troppo…

La questione elettromagnetismo è certamente controversa. Ci sono studi allarmanti e altri studi che escludono categoricamente ogni possibile effetto nocivo. L’unico consiglio che mi sento di dare è usare consapevolmente e secondo certe regole di buon senso evitando l’abuso dei cellulari, ma anche di fobie.

Ho letto che spesso gli adulti sono convinti che i bambini piccoli che non parlano ancora, non siano in grado di comprendere i loro discorsi o quello che viene trasmesso alla tv. In realtà i bambini riescono a capire molte cose e facendo così certi argomenti possono avere un effetto traumatico. “Più il bambino è piccolo più sarà attratto dalle immagini con un effetto ancora più pericoloso per la sua psiche. L’immagine infatti ha la caratteristica di colpire profondamente l’inconscio e di rimanere radicata nella memoria. Inoltre il bambino piccolo non avendo ancora imparato a parlare non è in grado di verbalizzare il proprio disagio né di parlare di ciò che lo spaventa; esprimerà pertanto attraverso il corpo ciò che lo disturba con il rischio di venir frainteso”. Non sempre si può prevenire la visione d’immagini violente, etc. Qualche volta può capitare in modo casuale ed imprevedibile che il bambino osservi immagini non adatte, anche se per poco tempo (telegiornali, film, etc.) Cosa si può fare e qual’è il modo giusto per intervenire?
Ancora una domanda sull’argomento televendite. Su alcune emittenti televisive si vedono programmi in cui si vincono premi rispondendo a domande che sembrano a dir poco banali ed ovvie, ma che non trovano durante la trasmissione nessuno in grado di risolverle nonostante i numerosi suggerimenti. Viene quasi voglia di chiamare immediatamente, ma il buon senso ci dice che sicuramente c’é qualcosa sotto (chissà quali saranno i costi della chiamate e se in realtà si vinca veramente!). Molte persone però sicuramente ci cascano. Ci sono delle leggi e qualcuno che controlli queste trasmissioni così evidentemente “irregolari”?

Cara Anna, la cosa migliore è far vedere poca tv ai bambini, ma soprattutto scegliere cosa far vedere. Ritengo assolutamente sbagliato lasciare bimbi neonati o poco più soli davanti allo schermo televisivo.
Diamoci delle regole anche noi adulti. Lasciare la tv spenta si può!

Volevo chiedere qualche consiglio riguardo i video e le foto. Ormai qualsiasi telefono cellulare è in grado di registrare filmati e scattare foto, stesso discorso per le webcam. Spesso i ragazzi inviano e fanno circolare loro foto con troppa facilità. Ci sono modi semplici per limitare questo comportamento o dove si possono trovare informazioni per far meglio capire il pericolo che in certi casi la circolazione delle immagini può creare? Un suo consiglio in merito?

Ho visto che in rete ci sono numerose chat come quella segnalata in un commento precedente da Elisabetta. Questo tipo di chat oltre alla comunicazione tra utenti (e già qui la cosa può nascondere pericoli visto che non si sa mai chi ci sia realmente dall’altra parte), offre la possibilità di acquistare oggetti virtuali da inserire nella propria stanza virtuale a pagamento, tramite le ricariche telefoniche. Ma è legale e regolare che dei bambini possano acquistare cose inesistenti di loro spontanea volontà con tale semplicità?

Voglio anticipare che l’uso dei new media dev’essere regolato, occorre dialogare con i nostri ragazzi, farsi spiegare cosa fanno e porre in essere un cauto controllo spiegando loro, condividendo il tutto senza imposizioni, che in rete esistono persone inaffidabili e pericolose dalle quali guardarsi.
Rispetto, poi, agli acquisti in rete, è sufficiente non dare ai ragazzi carte di credito o permettere di attuare forme di pagamento. Nel sito del governo italiano e in quello del Ministero dell’Innovazione tecnologica c’è un decalogo attuato dal sottoscritto con il Servizio della polizia postale e delle comunicazioni. Consultarlo può risultare utile.

Sig. Damele, ho visto che ci sono in rete moltissimi tipi di filtri gratuiti per rendere sicura la navigazione ai bambini. Sono validi anche quelli? C’é qualcosa di simile per la navigazione web sui cellulari?

Anche per la navigazione sul web via cellulare i filtri funzionano. Ce ne sono, è vero, tanti e molti gratuiti.
Consiglio di leggere le condizioni. Insisto nel dire che su http://www.davide.it trovate molte info utili.
Al di la di tutto il filtro migliore resta quello umano, quindi occhio vigile sulla navigazione dei minori. Ricordate che la rete è di tutti e occorre avere rispetto evitando, come purtroppo accade, di scrivere falsità, calunnie allusive e diffamazioni. Il detto “calunniate, calunniate, qualcosa resterà“, purtroppo è vero, ma è anche vero che tutto ciò che va torna….

Caro Fabry,
scordavo e le aggiungo adesso che Vodafone ha previsto di mettere in commercio un cellulare limitato a telefonate e sms (utile per minorenni e anziani). Spero che anche le altre società di telefonia facciano altrettanto.

Credo che il corretto uso del computer e di internet si dovrebbe insegnare nelle scuole. Non tutti i genitori sono in grado di prestare attenzione al lavoro svolto sul pc dai loro figli o installare programmi filtro per quanto semplici siano. Molti non hanno idea di come si utilizzi un pc.

Ci sono anche altri aspetti importanti da tener conto oltre alla sicurezza. Molti sottovalutano alcuni problemi fisici facilmente evitabili derivati dall’uso del pc. E’ importante quindi come si sta seduti davanti al computer, i problemi alla vista (dove posizionare il pc, la luce, il tempo massimo da utilizzare, la distanza del monitor dagli occhi, etc.)

La nostra Regione FVG ha attivato dei corsi (spero li ripeta) per insegnare a nonni e adulti l’uso del pc.
Al di la del corretto uso informatico è importante dialogare coi nostri figli sui contenuti della loro navigazione on line, magari facendoci insegnare da loro come si clicca. Consigli per evitare problemi fisici possono essere consultabili su tanti siti. E’ cosa buona e giusta meterli in pratica.

Gentile signor Damele, facendo riferimento ai commenti precedenti, alcune persone ben informate, mi hanno detto che per precauzione contro gli eventuali effetti delle onde elettromagnetiche sia meglio utilizzare il cellulare con l’auricolare specie nei bambini se l’uso è necessario o inviare sms al posto delle chiamate. E vero?

Sig. Damele, condivido perfettamente quello che dice, ma vorrei far notare quant’è difficile controllare i propri figli specialmente quando sono fuori casa. Anche se stiamo con loro e controlliamo tutto quello che fanno al pc, c’é sempre la possibilità che a casa del loro amico tutto questo controllo non esista. Dovrebbe esistere una legge che bocchi certi siti pericolosi o che contengono immagini non adatte ai minori. Se non eliminarli almeno far si che per l’accesso serva una password, un codice, una registrazione che dimostri la maggiore età.

Gentile sig. Damele dopo la sua risposta sono andata a visionare il sito davide.it e devo dire che è completo e interessante il problema è che l’utilizzo è a pagamento salvo avere un modem ormai quasi fuori uso,certamente è una spesa minima a tutela dei minori .

I filtri ci aiutano, ma non dobbiamo pensare a controlli massivi e immanenti sui nostri ragazzi, anzi, la cosa migliore è dialogare. Possono fare brutti incontri in rete come per la strada, l’importante è esserci, essere presenti, ascoltare, mediare, spiegare…

Avvolte si possono aprire immagini simili anche per sbaglio. Mi chiedevo se in questi particolari casi non sia necessaria una legge che imponga almeno un’iscrizione o una password per verificare la maggiore età e bloccare gli accessi ai minori,

Albachiara, esiste già un decreto firmato dal Ministro Gentiloni in merito. Occorre adesso controllare e segnalare violazioni all’Autorità per la garanzie nelle comunicazioni. In ogni caso filtri informatici e umani possono e devono fare la loro parte.

Sig. Damele, se come dice il decreto esiste già, credo proprio che non sia assolutamente applicato o non ci sia alcun tipo di controllo. Le garantisco che ci sono tantissimi, la maggioranza, di siti internet pornografici ai quali si può accedere senza alcun controllo, password o iscrizione e che inseriscono queste immagini già sulla homepage obbligandone la visione anche a chi ci è finito per sbaglio.

Credo che meno si usa l’elettronica più si usa la testa. E vero che in certi casi il computer può aiutare il bambino all’apprendimento, ma solitamente è molto più attirato dai videogiochi. Tv, consolle, etc. quasi sempre hanno un effetto molto negativo anche se ci sforziamo ed impegnamo a controllare i nostri figli (per quanto il lavoro, etc. ce lo permetta!). Ho notato che in particolar modo i videogiochi alterano lo stato del bambino rendendolo più attivo anche con un breve utilizzo e ore dopo.

Le istituzioni preposte dovrebbero controllare.
Si rivolga al Servizio della polizia postale e delle comunicazioni e denunci quanto vede e scopre.

Dobbiamo garantire un’alternativa ai nostri figli, sempre. L’alternativa è il dilaogo, l’ascolto, l’attenzione e l’amore.
Dobbiamo anche chiedere maggiore attenzione alle istituzioni, Agcom, Ministero, Commissioni parlamentari, autorità giudiziarie e investigative.
Non è giusto sottomersi a violenza, falsità, messaggi diseducativi, proposte di uso di sostanze nocive….

Forse a causa di un ambiente e una società in cui i giovani non riescono a rispecchiarsi, spesso cedono ad “alternative” che non sono salutari. La noia, i valori perduti, l’apparire, etc. Ecco che le cose semplici non hanno più valore e si ricorre ai videogiochi per sfuggire dalla realtà e a volte purtroppo all’alcol e alla droga. Parlare e comunicare come dice lei spesso diventa impossibile…
Anche la crisi economica fa la sua parte allontanando sempre di più i genitori che sono impegnati maggiormente nel lavoro e sono sempre più stressati e preoccupati. Con questo clima negativo è difficile dare speranze e certezze alle nuove generazioni, servono più esempi!
Esempi importanti ce ne sono però. Pensi a don Mario Vatta a Trieste, a don Davide Larice a Udine per rimanere in FVG. NOi stessi siamo esempi per i nostri figli. La situazione è difficile, ma possiamo dare una cosa preziosa ai nostri figli: il tempo.

Il problema è che è proprio il tempo che manca! Siamo troppo impegnati con il lavoro, i problemi, etc. Sarebbe bellissimo fare come dice lei e dedicare più tempo ai nostri figli, ma purtroppo troppo spesso non è possibile. L’alternativa qual’é? Di chi possiamo fidarci?

Quand’ero ragazzo io andavo all’oratorio con sacerdoti molto bravi. A Trieste siamo fortunati, ci son anche i ricreatori.

Uno dei problemi della tv per i ragazzi è la grande quantità di pubblicità e spot che vengono continuamente inseriti. Giocattoli, abbigliamento… Sembra che se uno non sia aggiornato alle novità non possa nemmeno andare a scuola. Lo zainetto dev’essere di quella marca, i jeans di un’altra, etc. Sono convinta che la proposta di utilizzare il grembiule per tutti sia molto utile. Si eliminerebbero tanti problemi, anche per quei genitori che non ce la fanno.

Cara Sara, d’accordo con Te sul grembiule. E anche sulla troppa pubblicità in tv durante programmi per ragazzi. In Francia hanno iniziato a togliere gli spot dalla Tv pubblica. Da noi direbbero che è una manovra per favorire Mediaset che tutti sappiamo di chi è… Chiediamo di togliere la pubblicità dalla fascia protetta (16-19). Ha un senso!

I think patients need to understand that if they want their solo/two-doctor group to be there in the future that they will have to accept an alternative payment model (i.e. cash pay). Some of the future changes will certainly be welcome, such as new technologies that make both patient’s and doctor’s work easier and more efficient, but there will also be less-desired changes of more governmental interference, red tape, and an increase of insurance companies’ efforts to collect as much money from the patient and give as little as possible to providers. By breaking this unhealthly addiction to insurance/government patients would find their doctor to be able to provide a much better quality of care. I hope it happens.
